Hi Ball Burlesque - Be Teased

Based in Melbourne

HiBall Burlesque - Be Teased - Be Captivated - Be Dazzled !

Hi Ball Burlesque is Australia's premier troupe, and has been at the forefront of the burlesque revival since 2002.

The girls of Hi Ball regularly perform for discerning audiences at private parties, festivals and corporate events, and also appear every month at their own burlesque club, Red Door Burlesque.

Brandy Alexander
A glamorous Hollywood style bombshell with the figure to match.

Muffy Manhattan
Her stunning Marilyn looks and dynamite stage presence leave audiences screaming for more.

Rusty Nail
With her raven hair and captivating smile, Rusy Nail is a classic pin-up come to life.

Hi Ball can also be seen in the Australian feature film "The Wedding Party" starring Steve Bisley, Josh Lawson and Isabel Lucas.

Group Routines

Muffy's Mafia
Hi Ball Burlesque goes back to Chicago in the 1920s! Clad in pinstripe suits and brandishing Tommy guns, the ladies make you an offer you can't refuse!

Brandy's Inferno
It's an epic battle between good and evil, as the angel Brandy Alexander is tempted by a devilish Muffy Manhattan and Rusty Nail.

Fantasia
A show-stopping extravaganza where the Hi Ball girls conceal their glamorous costumes behind their huge ostrich feather fans.

Hey Big Spender
A raunchy routine for three that would do Shirley Bassey proud. Look out for the flying feather boas!

The Pink Panther
A sharp and sexy number featuring three Hi Ball girls, Sparking canes and dazzling rhine- stone costumes.

G.I Blues
Accompanied by the popular Elvis tune, the girls join the army in their 40s pinup style costumes. A saucy number with an explosive finish!

Solo Routines

Muffy Manhattan
1. The Wicked Warden - There's a riot in Cell Block Number 9, Warden Muffy comes in to assert her authority before creating a riot of her own.

2. Trouble - Muffy is a haughty saloon girl strutting her stuff to Elvis Presley's classic song..  But watch out for her show-stopping tassel twirling!

3. Calypso Capers - She's got maracas, and she knows how to shake them! Wearing a stunning Carmen Miranda style costume, Muffy works up a one-woman conga line.

4. Diamonds are a girl's best friend - Muffy pays tribute to Marilyn Monroe in this classic number full of glamorous poses, lush costuming, and of course, expensive jewels!

Brandy Alexander
1. The Matador - Ole! There's not a bull in sight, but matador Brandy makes good use of her satin cape to tease the audience instead.

2. The Secretary - She's a secretary who just won't quit. Accompanied by a bold burlesque tune, Brandy performs a saucy routine that leaves the audience taking notes.

3. Pretty Peacock - Miss Brandy takes to the stage in a glamorous gown with an ingenious twist... With a flick of her skirt, the gown turns into a spectacular peacock tail, and Brandy turns from showgirl to exotic bird of paradise.

4. Sparkling Champagne - Wearing a genuine 1950s burlesque costume with a giant ostrich feather tail, Brandy performs a traditional gown and glove number, which culminates in a cascade of glittering champagne!

Rusty Nail
1. Stormy weather - It's raining rhinestones with a strong chance of feathers as Rusty ventures out with her shining trench coat and glittering umbrella.

2. The Fan Dance - A quintessential burlesque favourite. Rusty mesmerises the audience with her glamorous costume and enormous ostrich feather fans!
