Nichaud has made a trademark with her chameleon ways. She has performed for many prestigious events and is available to work in a variety of settings from duo to Big band. Born into the talented Fitzgibbon family her musical pedigree spans 3 generations of famous Jazz entertainers, specializing in the American popular songbook and Jazz favourites of the '20s & '30s but she is renowned for her ability to move you with her exquisite ballad singing, her beautiful treatment of Brazilian Bossa Nova and her raunchy hot Blues.
She's a natural, charismatic performer who has been delighting Australian and International audiences for years. Her vocal quality is sultry and warm. Her signature style is sassy and tinged with honey. Nichaud swings, she moves and she always grooves.
Nichaud's most recent career highlights include a stellar performance for The Governor General Ms Quentin Bryce and The Prime Minister The Honourable Ms Julia Gillard for The Frontline Gala Ball Commemorating 70 years since the tragic Bombing of Darwin 2012.
Nichaud was especially invited to sing with James Morrison'sTribute to Australian Swing for The Melbourne International Jazz Festival 2011, she has performed tributes to her father Smacka Fitzgibbon for The Stonnington Jazz Festival 2010 and has appeared with The Syncopators for their Tribute to The American Songbook for Morning Melodies at The Victorian Arts Centre 2010.
She has tributes to Peggy Lee, The American Songbook, Sergio Mendez & Brazil '66, Smacka Fitzgibbon, The Southern Country Belles and has a new Vaudeville show with the authentic 1920's band The Cairo Club Orchestra.

Nichaud's latest cd "Deep In the Night" was produced by the legendary American jazz singer Mark Murphy. It is a selection of standards including songs by Rodgers & Hart, Cole Porter, Cy Coleman, Antonio Carlos Jobim, David Frishberg and even Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull fame with arrangements by her talented brother, pianist Mark Fitzgibbon. This stunning recording is an eclectic mix of cool grooves, beautiful ballads and gorgeous bossa nova.
