Wed 6 Apr
Public Bar: Pool Comp.
Bandroom: Jager Uprising w The Thiefs, The Fold + Inkerman. 8pm free.
Inkerman are Dave.H on vox & guitars, Dave.M on lead guitar, Brett on bass and Lee on drums. The band formed in 2003 based on their mutual love of good music. Through workmates and several ‘musicians wanted’ ads the right players were found and Inkerman was born.
Sound Rehearsal Studios in Moorabbin has seen the boys put in a solid rehearsal every Sunday for the past 1.5 years. The guys have also spent a bunch of time practicing/composing acoustically on weeknights. During this time they took a break for some overseas travel in 2004.
Since then, practice has resumed, gear has been upgraded and a rough demo has been recorded. Inkerman is currently recording their debut EP on their own and writing some new material. Inkerman’s sound can be defined as pop/rock with catchy melodies and strong lead lines. Their influences range from Jimmy Eat World and Motorace to John Mayer.
With groups of friends eagerly awaiting Inkerman’s live performances, 2005 will see Inkerman enter the live music scene and they’ll be there to stay!

Thur 7 Apr
Public Bar: Tinted Lane. 9.30pm free.
Tinted Land was formed in2003 as all bands are, after a late night of drinking and piss talk between Pete (vocals/guitars) and Jase (guitars). After the exchange of a horrendous demo tape, further banter and a couple of jams with Pete, Jase and Itz (drums) it was decided to make Tinted Lane official. After a shaky 4 months with no bass player, Bryz joined the band and no one has looked back since.
Tinted Lane writes passionate songs and play from the balls. Unique vocal’s, powerful harmonies, blistering rhythm section and lively performances all combine to help Tinted Lane carry the torch for great Aussie rock bands. The band has recently finished recording a demo that captures the bands energy and great songs and are waiting to pay their dues to any punter who is willing to listen. So take your hand off your…. remote and check them out.
