LATITUDE
When music attacks! The band formed in mid 2006. And Moses said “THOU SHALL BE LATITUDE!” Is this true?? No one is really sure. Kent (Guitar/Vox) & Pete (Bass) went to high school together, after high school they didn’t really see each other again till the start of 2006, when they ran into each other at a party and had words. A few weeks later Kent sent Pete a CD of some tracks and they decided to get some music happening. Percussion wunderkind Chris Newbury was found through some internet forums and the band was created. Latitude’s music pushes for an intensity, any tangible emotion you can point a knife at. Walls of distortion can suddenly drop away leaving a solitary echoing guitar note or a longgggggggggggg bass rumble. The balance between these things is key, it’s constantly being refined and reformed.
