Tété: Only Melbourne Show
Tété may not be a household name in Australia just yet, but that situation is set to change with his debut tour here from Dec 07 – Jan 08.
It could be the West Indian blood running in his veins, or the Beatles heritage he grew up listening to that has formed Tété’s distinctive sound – but who cares about pigeonholes when talking about an artist who has sold over half a million records since his debut release in 2001, and sold out legendary venue The Olympia five times in one year?

Braemar at South Coast Folk Club, South Australia
South Coast Folk Club’s final concert for 2007 features popular Scottish/Irish from Melbourne, Braemar and ex-Liverpool Spinner, Mick Groves. This Thursday 29th November at the Port Noarlunga RSL, Esplanade, Port Noarlunga. Admission to SCFC concerts is free (as long as you buy a $5 raffle ticket) - concert starts at 8pm but it’s a good idea to be early if you want a good seat!

THE FITZ Best Short Film Awards of 2007
A culmination of a year of screenings, from the Fitzroy Shorts screening calendar. The final screening of the ten best short films is to be held at the Australian Centre for Moving image (ACMI), with two awards being handed out, The Grand Jury Prize along with a Jury Special Mention Award. Jury members for the 2007 awards include Ralph McClean (Yarts TV Program - Channel 31), Fiona Gruber ( Radio Show host 3PBS – Sunday night “The Opening”), Richard Sowada (Head of Programs – ACMI) and comedian and superstar dancer Corrine Grant.

Kate Miller-Heidke ‘Little Eve’ tour
It’s been a huge few months for Kate Miller-Heidke. Hot on the heels of her debut album ‘Little Eve’ being nominated for five ARIA Awards, the Kate Miller Heidke Band also performed a show-stopping live performance at the ARIA ceremony itself, which aired Sunday October 28th on Channel 10.
