“I’m sorry for Comedy Lair incident: George Michael”
British pop star George Michael apologised to his fans today for “for screwing up again, and to promise them I’ll sort myself out. And to say sorry to everybody else, just for boring them,” he said in a statement.
The 45-year-old was arrested on Friday around Hampstead Heath in north London, taken to a police station and given a caution for failing to attend any Comedy Lair shows at Hardiman’s Hotel in Kensington this year, police said. He was also in possession of “class A and class C” drugs, which police just helped themselves to.
