With their debut album ‘The Light & Shade’ out February 12 through MGM / JM Records, Central Coast band Jaywalker have hit 2010 running. In support of the album’s release – Sanity, as part of their “Breaking New Artists” promotion, will be featuring, displaying, playing and selling ‘The Light & Shade’ in every single one of their 240+ stores nationwide. Jaywalker will also be playing several instore performances as they tour the east-coast through February and March on their album launch tour.
The tour will also be partially funded by the Commonwealth Government, after the band was recently awarded a grant under the prestigious Australian Contemporary Music Touring Program.

Tickets for Phoenix’s long sold-out Hordern Pavilion date proved to be one of the hottest and most soughtafter
items in town! Now, finally a second show has been confirmed for the good folk of Sydney! Phoenix will
play a final show at Luna Park’s Big Top on Wednesday March 3.
Tickets will go on sale through The Big Top box office and Ticketmaster on Friday February 5 at 9am.
In August of 2009, Phoenix sold out their only three Australian shows so fast that there were just as many
tearful ticketless folk outside the venues as there were those inside lucky enough to witness the best damn
pop show of their lives.

Due to an overwhelming demand for tickets during the current pre-sale period, a second Sydney show has been added to
Massive Attack’s Australian tour dates on TUESDAY, MARCH 16 at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt.
A limited number of pre-sale tickets are available from now until February 4. Tickets go on general sale Friday February 5.
Founding members Robert Del Naja (3D) and Grant Marshall (Daddy G) bring their haunting and hypnotic fusion of hazy beats,
dub, hauntingly soulful melodies and choice samples to Australia this March, joined on tour by vocalists Horace Andy, Deborah
Miller, Martina Topley-Bird, and band members Damon Reece (drums), Angelo Bruschini (guitar), John Baggott (keyboards),
Winston Blissett (bass) and Julien Brown (drums).

NEW010 is a little bit NEWER
PRESENTED BY THE BALNAVES FOUNDATION
For the past eight years ACCA has offered six/seven promising Australian artists the opportunity to make a new work and have it shown in the annual NEW exhibition. Next year NEW010 will shake things up a bit.
ACCA’s curatorial team has joined with prominent Melbourne architectural and interior design company NEXUS Designs to recreate, re-vision and refresh the exhibition galleries. The designers have turned the space into seven individual sites, each with their own new intervention –plinths have been introduced, walls cut into and ceilings expanded.
