20th Anniversary Wongawilli Bush Dance

You can join a big dance and social party with the Wongawilli Band, Wongawilli Colonial Dancers, Wongawilli Colonial Dance Club and special guest dance group and musicans from Denmark - Østjydske Folkedansere. The date is October 20 at the Albion Park Centenary Hall. The occasion is even more special as it is the formal 20th anniversary celebration for the band and dancers.
The Wongawilli Band and Dancers are known for their party spirit and still have it after 20 years!
The evening will include a selection of called and walked through bush dances from 8pm to midnight intermingled with performances from the Danish dancers (30 in total) and musicians.
Kvonn, who will be performing at the Folk in the Foothills event on 21 October, from the Faeroe Islands, will also join the big band, making a very Scandinavian / Australian flavour!
BUSH DANCE TICKETS
Tickets for the dance are only $6 for adults, Youth $3 (12 to 16), children free. These are available from the door on the evening.
DINNER
A smorgasbord dinner is also being offered from 6.30pm for a total price of $22 for adults, $15 for Youth (12 to 16) and $5 for children. Bookings for dinner are essential and need to be made by 17 October with Pat Murray by phone - 02 4236 0097
