A THING FOR KATE… @ The Prince of Wales Nov 27
A THING FOR KATE…@ The Prince of Wales,
Thursday, November 27th
Some of Australia’s top musicians, including Paul Kelly, Tex Perkins, James Reyne, Nick Barker, The Fauves, Ella & Jesse Hooper, Vika & Linda Bull and more are banding together to play a very special show at the Prince Bandroom on Thursday November 27th.
The gig is being held to help raise money for their dear friend and music industry veteran Kate Bentley, who was recently diagnosed with cancer. Money raised will help assist Kate’s fight against and recovery from cancer, a disease, which affects so many people.
Kate Bentley has worked in the Australian music industry for more than 20 years and has done everything from tour managing, singing back up vocals for Daryl Braithwaite and also held a number of positions as part of the Mushroom “family” including many years at Premier Artists.
Whilst the musicians take to the stage, the bar will be manned by an all star AFL staff with Richmond’s Matthew Richardson, Joel Bowden, Brendan Gale, Wayne Campbell, Western Bulldog’s star Robert Murphy and Ben Harrison pulling beers for the punters drinking pleasure with a few more famous faces to spot on the night.
Hosting the night will be comedian Mathew Hardy with DJ’s Lisa Palermo, Baitzy and Pierre Baroni with major auction items to be announced shortly and raffle draw and t-shirts on sale!
So get down to the Prince Bandroom on November 27 for a night of great music, celebrity barman spotting and help some of our favourite musos help out their dear friend.
More acts to be announced shortly!
