About Entertainment News

Filed under: General — site admin @ 2:54 pm

Entertainment News provides a means for publicists in the Australian Entertainment, Arts and Music Industry to promote their events on the Internet in a convenient and timely manner.

The major Search Engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN) only visit and review most web sites about once a month. This poses a major dilemma to many publicists when promoting an event, namely the event is often over before it is prominently listed by the Search Engines. A solution was needed that would get the message out while the subject was still newsworthy and Internet users were likely to be searching on the topic.

At Entertainment Depot we now have this solved, and are making the service freely available to those publicising entertainment-related events. Promotional and publicity pieces published in our News section are now rapidly indexed by the search engines and usually appear on Search Results pages within a few days.

Should you have a Gig, Event or Tour that you would like promoted, please email your media release to news@entertainmentdepot.com.au - there is no charge for the use of this service.

Of course, we reserve the right to refuse items that are considered not suitable. Usually, items are published within 24 hours and are listed in the major Search Engines within a couple of days.

Media releases are published largely as received by Entertainment Depot.
