Adrian Belew @ St Andrews Hotel

Filed under: rock music, Tours, General — site admin @ 7:55 am

If you missed Adrian Belew’s Anzac Eve Corner Hotel gig (with the fantastic Josh Owen Band as support) you missed Adrian crowd surfing with hundreds of ecstatic punters! He also played at a sold out Basement gig in Sydney and I’ve attached John Shand’s fully rockin’ Sydney Morning Herald Review from Adrian’s Hurlstone Park RSL gig.

There are still two more chances to see Adrian with his band while he is here in Victoria - Saturday 29 April at the St Andrews Hotel in St Andrews (with the Josh Owen Band again) and Thursday 4th May at the Peninsula Lounge (with Phil Para launching his new original material on the night) so get in now to catch the full live Adrian Belew experience!

Also, on Monday 1st May at Manchester Lane look out for a special presentation “Adrian Belew’s Road Tales & Guitar Theatre,” which will feature Adrian playing solo, taking questions from the audience, telling some good Zappa/Bowie stories/talking techniques & gear - and then playing a set with his Aussie power trio, featuring Al Slavic on bass and chapman stick and John Prior on drums.
