Art of Songwriting
Whether or not you play an instrument, or know anything about lyrics, this structured course will help you to uncover your songwriting potential, or expand it in new directions. The course will provide tips on finding inspiration, developing your unique artistic integrity, keeping the inner critic at bay, as well as a solid grounding in developing all areas of the craft of songwriting.
There will be time for workshopping, exploring creative ideas, giving and receiving feedback during class time, as well as learning theoretical ideas about the craft of songwriting from both a musical and lyrical perspective.
This course is a great way of building up your songwriting tool box, honing your understanding of what makes a good song in your own eyes, and finding fertiliser and motivation for your creative potential.

· Must book (include deposit) by Mon 18th Sept
· Term 4, Mondays 7 – 10pm, for six weeks.
· Weeks 1 and 6 go for 1.5 hrs.
