Bella Union wants to give something back to the Australian community by procuring for them the gift they hardly dared dream of, a place in the pantheon of Eurovision glory!
We’ve already got the energy and desire to succeed and a crack legal team - what we need now is the very best songwriting and performance talent that Australia has to offer.
Surely we can find the next Lordi, the next Celine Dion, the next Dustin the Turkey, the next Bucks Fizz, the next Dana International, or even the next ABBA. And we will!
Apply now via www.comedyattrades.com.au for your chance to join this illustrious list and represent Australia at Eurovision 2010. All Eurovision rules must be obeyed: there are to be a maximum of six performers in each group, the song must be original, vocals must be performed live, and acts must not bring the contest into disrepute.
Performing in national language and costume is commended, but not required. Collaborations across all art forms are very much encouraged. If you don’t have a song or a voice, but can make fabulous frocks, have some smooth dance moves or are a mighty fine muso - we can hook you up with folks who can complete the circle.
Applications close at 5.00pm on Monday 30 March. All acts must be available on at least one of the following Fridays - 3, 10 or 17 April - as well as the big final sing-off on Friday 24 April.
