Between the Bays Music Festival
Between the Bays Music Festival Prepares to Rock the Peninsula Next Saturday 19th April.
For those who still haven’t had their festival fix for the season just yet, and left the Point Nepean festival hungry for more, Between the Bays Music Festival is preparing to rock the peninsula once again next weekend. Bringing you some of Australia’s favourite musicians and showcasing the region’s finest food wine and lifestyle, Between the Bays takes place in the picturesque setting of the Penbank School in Moorooduc.
Set amongst the trees on 37 beautiful rural acres, Between the Bays is serving up a stellar line up of fine Aussie music talent, headed up by one our most prolific artists, Mr Tim Rogers, performing songs from his debut solo album The Luxury of Hysteria. Joining Tim, two of Australia’s most loved music veterans James Reyne and Mark Seymour, the lovely Rebecca Barnard, and a whole lot more.
And as if the musical feast is not enough, punters will also be treated to a festival feast of gourmet food stalls offering a wide range of tastes and smells, and local wines including Barmah Park, Tuck’s Ridge and T’Gallant to sip whilst lying back on the lawn enjoying the festival sights and sounds.
Food stalls will include the Flying Calamari Brothers, The Moroccan Spice Kitchen, Wood Fired Pizzas, Specialty Cheese Platters, Gourmet Sausage Stall, Mango Licks and even a Lolly Shop for the kids!
With kids under 12 free and smorgasbord of food, wine, music, rides and activities to occupy the whole family, all in the picturesque setting of Penbank Primary School, Between the Bays Music Festival offers an enjoyable and inexpensive family day out.
