Announce: ‘SIZZLING 2010’ TOUR

Having attained a well-earned ARIA Award loss for Top 40 hit, Broken Leg, Bluejuice have big plans for 2010. Despite their pasty complexions, their complete rejection of shorts as a fashion item, and their general reluctance to go outside for any reason, the band have decided to spend summer touring the sizzling Australian countryside.

“Sizzling 2010″ is a mini music fiesta also featuring their pals Yves Klein Blue, The Jezabels, and White Birds & Lemons, which will allow all members to throw off the shackles of their debilitating inner city paranoia and embrace the sunny delights of regional Australia.

A Taste Of Head Of The Hawk Album Reviews

The chaotic attitude is infectious… a must-see this festival season.”

Craig Mathieson – The Sydney Morning Herald

“post-pop-audio-schlock that dances on the palate like a freshly skulled, bright orange, pre-mix vodka. Either way, it sounds like substance abuse and could probably be banned for what it does to young minds.… carving out a name for themselves as the best Aussie band with a sense of humour since Regurgitator”.

Matthew Fallon – Canberra Times (ALBUM OF THE WEEK)

“Head of The Hawk is an ambitious step forward, yet still trademark bluejuice. The production qualities (helmed by Chris Shaw – Public Enemy, Weezer) and song strength give this album international appeal; it’s definitely one of the better records of this year.”

J-Mag (4 stars)

“Gone is the excessive bravado of Problems, and instead they’ve dished up pure pop pay-dirt. What remains is an album that will stay in your CD player for many more months, and in your head for much longer.”

Ben Hermann – BMA Magazine
