SLOW GRIND FEVER #22
Slow Grind Fever returns to it’s spiritual home above The Tote for more slow swaying, low dipping, neck kissing and all that good stuff. We play the slowest, spookiest, sweetest, swinginest old records we can find, and people dance real slow in a haze of smoke and dim red lights. It’s a good time. This month our man Mohair Slim returns from his trip to the U.S. and Jamaica with a suitcase full of all things slow and moody for your grinding pleasure. And mine too…

TRENCH SISTERS
+ Bloodrule + Contaminated (first show) + Faceless Burial (first show)

TRENCH SISTERS inexplicably got back together despite no one missing them or their haphazard brand of grinding metallic hardcore blended with the ‘comedy’ stylings of Doug ‘Oscar Wilde’ Susman, but they’re playing this show and you should come down, if for nothing other than to heckle. Joining in are BLOOD RULE, who mix blasts and beatdowns in equal measure. Handsome cunts playing heavy heavy shit.

Two new death metal bands from Melbourne are making their first live appearances here: CONTAMINATED released a monstrous demo as a solo project and have now expanded with a lineup consisting of jerk-offs. Heavy and filthy old school doomy death metal. FACELESS BURIAL plays chunky and choppy grinding death metal. Folks from White Walls, Backwards Zombie and Max from Agents Of Abhorrence is finally back to blasting behind the kit!
