The Future Postal Service FEDERATION SQUARE
By Maybe Together (AUS/DENMARK)
7 – 11 April FREE
This school holidays, bring the kids to Fed Square to become postmen for The Future Postal Service, a high-energy, big-thinking mail delivery game. From 7 – 11 April children can join a game of writing letters to adults and delivering them to new friends in Fed Square.

Hosted by artist collective Maybe together, children are asked, “what do you want to thank adults for?” They can write or draw their thankful answers as letters. Children will move through a series of stations where they will be writing, stamping and finally becoming postmen. With blue paper postal hats on, and under the supervision of the game’s coordinators, children will deliver the letters to passing adults who delight in receiving the postal surprises.

The Fairytale Cookbook by Impro Melbourne

Filed under: children's entertainment, Literature, Fine Arts, performance art, Gigs, Comedy, General — site admin @ 12:40 pm

Impro Melbourne Presents The Fairytale Cookbook
From the company who brought you Theatresports™ and Celebrity Theatresports™, Impro Melbourne now presents The Fairytale Cookbook—a
Choose Your Own Adventure-style performance full of energy and imagination. A favourite in schools across Victoria, The Fairytale Cookbook is
a show for the entire family.

Open the cookbook, choose your ingredients, and let us whip you up an improvised fairytale you’ve never seen before. Start with a Hero, add a splash
of Pirate, or spice it up with a Witch… the choice is yours. And as each show is entirely improvised, you’ll never see the same show twice!
High on audience interaction and involvement, the story evolves as children choose each element of the story, allowing them to take part in the act of
creating a unique and entertaining show. It’s a great way to let kids explore their imagination, learn storytelling skills and work with others in an exciting
and generous environment.
Impro Melbourne have a long history of producing quality and entertaining performances for school-aged children, and work extensively with Regional
Arts Victoria and schools throughout the state. Veterans of the Comedy Festival for over 25 years, this will be an Impro Melbourne show your kids will
remember for years to come.
The Fairytale Cookbook is a fun and imaginative show for children of any age.

Venue:
Melbourne Town Hall, Powder Room
