Brisbane skaters to realise a dream in Disney On Ice first
Disney On Ice presents Worlds of Fantasy from June 30
On July 1, in one history-making show only, a group of young skaters from Brisbane will realize their dream and take part in a pre-show performance before the international skating superstars take over and perform Disney On Ice presents Worlds of Fantasy.
For the first time ever, local skaters have been invited to perform on the ice before a Disney On Ice show in Queensland. A troupe of 42 from the Iceworld Figure Skating Club based at Acacia Ridge in Brisbane, home to some of Queensland’s top skaters, will perform their custom-created show, A Disney Dream, at 2pm on Friday, July 1.

Next July, Queensland audiences will have the chance to welcome the world renowned Cirque du Soleil back to Brisbane. Saltimbanco, one of the company’s most loved classic shows, will be presented at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre from July 8.
Saltimbanco, from the Italian “saltare in banco” which literally means to jump on a bench, is the show which started Australia’s love affair with Cirque du Soleil when the internationally-acclaimed entertainment company first toured here in 1999. A thrilling, kaleidoscopic celebration of awe-inspiring artistry and agility, Saltimbanco will be presented in theatre mode in arena venues across the country with the same energetic and vibrant performance as experienced under the Big Top. Originally directed by Franco Dragone, the show features an international cast of over 50 performers and musicians from more than 20 different countries.

From Wednesday June 16 through to Sunday June 20, some of the biggest names in showbiz will perform a series of spectacular shows on the ice when Disney On Ice presents a Disneyland® Adventure hits the Brisbane Entertainment Centre!
From June 16 to 20, al all-star Disney on Ice cast including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Baloo, Snow White, Cinderella, The Incredibles, Buzz Lightyear, the evil witch Maleficent, Alice in Wonderland, Pirates of the Caribbean and more will take over Brisbane.
