Sunday 24th September 2017
The Caravan Club Drummond Street Oakleigh
New Orleans’ THE ROAMIN’ JASMINE are headed down-under. The band, led by upright bass player and raconteur Taylor Smith, are currently on a 25 date tour of Europe, culminating in a performance at Maverick Fest (the UK’s #1 Americana festival and rated by the Sunday Times as one of the Top 5 UK festivals of the season). Special guest LACHLAN BRYAN & THE WILDES PLUS ZOE K
After Europe they’ll return to their long standing (3 years and counting) Sunday night residency at NOLA’s hipster Bacchanal
The RJ embody everything that we love about New Orleans. They’re a melting pot of old school big band influences (think Cab Calloway) and country blues (think Leadbelly or Son House) and they play with the inimitable swagger that can only come from starting on the streets of one of the greatest music towns on earth.
