This double headline show features The Vasco Era and TZU. The Vasco Era’s raw and energetic rock / blues fusion has attracted a truck load of attention and earned them an impressive touring schedule including Big Day Out, The Falls Festival and support shows with The Black Keys and the Violent Femmes. THE JOHNNYS – reunion show
The Johnnys, led by Spencer P Jones, are back together for a re-union show following a sell out ‘worst-kept-secret-show’ as part of the Tote’s 20th Anniversary celebrations late last year. Described as “a cross between Marty Robbins and The Sex Pistols”, in their heyday The Johnnys dressed as cowboys (complete with Stetson hats, leather chaps and handguns!) and appeared onstage amidst bails of hay, playing fast, loud, explosive guitar-drenched songs.
