NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:

THE HOLIDAYS (NSW - album launch) with Papa vs Pretty and special guest: JUST ANNOUNCED - ON SALE FRIDAY!

Sydney foursome The Holidays’ debut album ‘Post Paradise’ may have been a long time coming, but it has categorically been worth the wait. The first two singles, ‘Moonlight Hours’ and ‘Golden Sky’, hinted at the exciting musical re-birth this band has taken over the past 18 months, yet do not exclusively define the depths of this blissful musical journey. Now, on the eve of its release, the band are set to hit the road, launching the album across the country with support at the East from friends is Papa Vs Pretty.

CRAYON FIELDS with Darren Sylvester and Hit The Jackpot: JUST ANNOUNCED - ON SALE MONDAY!

Melbourne pop romanticists Crayon Fields are set to head back to the USA for the second time this year. The fine folk of New York City, Austin and LA have had more opportunities to see Crayon Fields this year than their own hometown homies. In a bid to rectify the imbalance, Crayon Fields will be playing a special Melbourne headline show at the East with support from Darren Sylvester and Hit The Jackpot. Expect some new songs amongst well loved favourites from ‘All The Pleasures of the World’ and ‘Animal Bells’.

This week, amazing young sound artist and improviser Que Nguyen makes her MIUC solo debut, presenting recent explorations in voice manipulations mediated by extended vocal technique and electronic processing. Reprising their duo from the Overground event at this year’s Melbourne International Jazz Festival in May, Australian punk icon Kim Salmon and legendary experimental guitarist Dave Brown, weave delicately grainy tapes and pedals with their familiar mastery of fractured and brittle guitar distortion. And young postskronk/noisejazz trio, Tucceri/Febbraio/Ellis
abstracting the jazz rock-tradition through grinding density.
