This month Sam Evans is playing with two of Melbourne’s finest improvising jazz/world musicians: 6 string bass player Chris Hale and Dan Richardson playing an amazing array of flutes and wind instruments.
These three musicians will be playing their own eclectic compositions and a variety of ethnic tunes from around the world with intimate interactions and long improvisations. Their music combines Indian tabla in a melodic role with meandering eastern melodies, fat grooves and chops to burn.
Free from 9pm
Wednesday November 14 at Horse Bazaar, 397 Lt Lonsdale St, City.
