Convention is August 18/19/20 and is being held at The Ainslie Function Centre, Canberra.

Live Poets - North Sydney

Live Poets’ will be holding its next evening on Wednesday, April 26th at
Don Bank Museum, 6 Napier St, North Sydney - doors open 7.30 and
admission is $7.

Live Poets has always been open to musicians as well as wordsmiths -
for anyone to read, sing, tell a story or play an instrument in fact.

The upcoming meeting will be a special birthday affair (LP’s 16 years in
the biz!) and bisecting the Giant Open Section there will be cake,
liquid refreshments and supper in the courtyard - and competitions -
Guess the Poet, Guess the Novel quizzes, and play-offs for Best
Unplugged Song and Best Karaoke Without Backing Track (decided by
popular vote).

‘A Special BEMAC Concert by renowned visiting Chilean Trovador’

Patricio Anabalon belongs to the new generation of Chilean artists who were raised under the influence of the political and social changes that took place in South America during the 70s and the 80s. Patricio was born in Santiago, Chile, in 1975 and studied classical guitar and music composition with maestro Christian Vasquez and jazz guitarist Jorge Diaz.
