Newcastle performers star in ‘Valentino the Latin Lover’ musical

The new musical hit ‘Valentino the Latin Lover’ will hit the stage in Newcastle featuring its two Newcastle based stars, Amy Vee and Atalie Wilmoth. The show’s creator, David Tydd, auditioned in Sydney for performers and has been surprised by finding so many talented artists from Newcastle.

The Butterfly Club January Program

The Butterfly Club kicks off the new year by converting into a hub for the Midsumma Festival (Fri 19 Jan – Sun 11 Feb) – making it possibly the world’s most intimate performance hub!

Bob Downe, one of Australia’s most loved and enduring cabaret stars, heads a curated line up of fabulous character-based cabaret performers.

The club’s comfy lounges, delectable cocktails, twisted bingo and eclectic décor will welcome Midsumma friends over the four weeks of the Festival, with each week exploring a different kitsch theme from around the world. The four theme weeks will be revealed on www.thebutterflyclub.com next year.
