Contrive Melbourne Album Launch

Filed under: metal music, CD Launches, Gigs, General — site admin @ 8:32 am

Power trio CONTRIVE have been hitting it hard on the road since the release of their crushing debut album The Meaning Unseen (mixed in Sweden by infamous metal producer Fredrik Nordstrom (ARCH ENEMY, OPETH, DIMMU BORGIR)

Formed by twin brothers Paul & Andrew Haug (Andrew is the host of TRIPLE J’s metal show “Full Metal Racket”)

Together CONTRIVE have independently released 2 EPs, played a stack of shows with the likes of SEPULTURA, MACHINE HEAD, SOILWORK, SKINLAB, etc & made several appearances performing at Australia’s most prestigious metal festival METAL FOR THE BRAIN.

Before they jet off to Perth and Brisbane for more shows, they’ll be launching the album on Saturday October 29th @ The Evelyn Hotel with special guests The Deadly and Waidaiko Rindo (Japanese Taiko Drummers whom Andrew currently studies with).

This is sure to be an awe-inspiring evening of hard hitting Metal and worldly rhythms.

Kicks off @ 9:00pm, Door $10.00
