WAGONS Behind ‘The Rise And Fall Of Goodtown’ (album preview) - Interviews/Performance’ Hosted by FEE B SQUARED’ (RRR Breakfasters)’ and Qua (DJ set) and Princess One Point Five - SELLING FAST!
Thu 9 April 2009 (Good Friday Public Holiday Eve)
Doors 8.00
Melbourne’s own Wagons will perform the songs from their 4th and latest album ‘The Rise and Fall of Goodtown’ before they hit the road nationally to promote the pending release and follow up to 2007’s acclaimed “The Curse of Lightning”. Hosting the night will be Triple R breakfast favourite Fee B Squared who will interact with the band and audience between tracks, exploring the ideas and back stories behind the much anticipated new long player. The new album sees Wagons in fine form, exploring new musical territory for the band. Henry and band balance between well-worn 70’s Vegas horn-filled stages and wading through the swamps surrounding homes from ‘A Clockwork Orange’, all the while plundering cult crypts under the watchful eye of Roy Orbison listening to Canned Heat on his Cadillac radio. Featuring special guests, Behind ‘The Rise and Fall of Goodtown’ will offer Wagons fans a unique experience unlikely to be repeated.
