Celebrating the release of their album ‘Accourding To’, the Lost Gospel sink their teeth in and blast out loud & proud raucous bluesy rock. The band features Jamieson along with Stevie Wright’s son Nick on guitar, ex-Custard member Matthew Strong on bass and Lee Maloney of Bloody Mary on drums. Jamieson started the band with Wright in November 2004 as an acoustic duo but expanded it to a full line-up in mid 2005. ASID - ‘Asylum Seeker Independence Day’ - is a mega-benefit event with bands such as DeJah Groove, Vox Congo, Joelistics (TZU) and Dallas Frasca combining forces to raise funds and community awareness for those asylum seekers in the community on Bridging Visa E’s who do not have work rights or rights of access to Medicare or Centrelink benefits. Since signing to Animal Collective’s Paw Tracks label, Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti have won fervent cult status with a handful of amazing and hallucinatory home-made pop albums.
