Hot on the heels of their Postcards From A Ghost national tour, Epicure are pleased to be able to announce that they will be supporting UK’s Gomez at some of the indie rockers’ upcoming Australian shows.

2008 was a return to a busy schedule for Epicure. Releasing Postcards From A Ghost in October, the band toured constantly in the latter part of the year, reminding their many fans of the strength of their dynamic live shows. It was a great return to form.

The new album drew comparisons, both for Juan Alban’s songwriting and the band’s sound to Augie March, Powderfinger, REM and The Church, impressing critics across the country and bringing the band back where they belong, into mainstream awareness.

“A real treat” – Rave Magazine

“Simply sublime” – Mediasearch

“ A fabulous album” – The Advocate

“One of my favourite albums” – Sauce Magazine

“File next to Augie March – this is compelling, challenging pop.” - Music Australia Guide

“Juan Alban and company have just released the album of their career! Late in the year, Postcards From A Ghost is in serious consideration for inclusion on end of year Top Ten lists, boasting as it does, a bakers’-dozen of killer tracks.” – Forte
