AURA-PHOBIA
“Don’t be afraid of something potentially within yourself…”

Using this sense, the band lives to achieve what they believe while others choose to stand safe, afraid to make their decision to the undiscovered road.

Since forming in 2003, Aura-phobia has emerged from garage band to be dedicated mature musicians, continually to write, record and playing live.

The bands very first song “Phase” was featured on Kompilasi Pengamen Melbourne, a CD compilation of Melbourne-based bands which was launched in Indonesia 2004 (www.pengamenmelbourne.com).
Later that year following up to the success of song “Phase” Aura-phobia were invited to open and support international artist DEWA touring Australia. The venue was packed over 1000 audience and the band had its very first moments of large crowds.

All four shared a common deep emotion for music, and as they got to know each other, further they found there was something special within the band.

“There is a sense of fate in the sound when we pick up our instruments…”

The sound of Aura-phobia is best described as new wave of subtle alternative rock.

With diverse musical influences and tastes each member brings their own approach to the band creating a mixture of sounds and stories.

Mid 2005 sparked a new song titled “The Way” which aired on local PBS, RRR, SBS and SynFM radio including international radio play

“The Way” caught the attention of listeners to be featured on a compilation Coke Live 06 which has been distributed within Australia.

Aura-phobia has been embraced by a diverse following of fans both in Melbourne and overseas.

FALL ARREST
Fall Arrest is four guys with different musical backgrounds getting together a couple of nights a week to bash out original tunes and play gigs around town.

The band is four members of the original band called “The Crowl” which has emerged under the new name “Fall Arrest” with a new plan to just enjoy making the music.

Over the years we have produced several independent recordings and plan to complete a new installment over the next 6 months that showcases the new direction and strong vibe being created.

A strong guitar based sound with powerful melodies and song writing. A huge collection of tracks that cover a broad range of styles to suit varying emotions and interests that have proven to be popular on the gig scene.

Without drawing typical stereotypes, an alternative style categorised with influences such as Faith No More, Stone Temple Pilots and Queens of the Stone Age.
