THE DYNAMIC SPACE COWBOY IS BACK!
Delivering the funkiest moves and most infectious grooves Jamiroquai return to Australia this summer to blow our minds!
Jay Kay and his funktastic band left us gasping in the wake of their massive sell-out shows across the nation in November 2002. This summer they’ll doing even more damage as they explode onto the open air stages of Melbourne’s Myer Music Bowl, Sydney’s Centennial Park, Brisbane’s Riverstage, Adelaide’s Memorial Drive and Perth’s Supreme Court Gardens. Jamiroquai also play Canberra and Newcastle.
Jamiroquai have been on the rollercoaster of musical highs since their debut over 13 years ago in the thick haze of the Acid Jazz movement. With great foresight Sony U.K. signed them to an unprecedented eight album deal and Jay and the lads have exceeded all expectations, delivering hit album after hit album.
The face of Jamiroquai, Jay Kay, is a West London skater boy who was propelled to UK stardom with the release of his debut album Emergency On Planet Earth. The 2nd and 3rd albums fuelled the drive for world domination as Return Of The Space Cowboy and Travelling Without Moving (featuring Cosmic Girl and Virtual Insanity) sparked massive radio airplay and chart-topping success.
Jamiroquai’s 6th and most recent studio album Dynamite (SonyBMG) was delivered earlier this year, and has kept dance floors filled and car stereos booming with tracks such as Feels Like It Should and Seven Days In Sunny June.
With world-wide album sales in excess of 20 million Jay Kay is now a celebrated style leader revered for his spaced-out funk music.
Summer ‘05 starts here with seven days in sunny December as Jamiroquai big it up live!

This summer they’ll doing even more damage as they explode onto the open air stages of Melbourne’s Myer Music Bowl, Sydney’s Centennial Park, Brisbane’s Riverstage, Adelaide’s Memorial Drive and Perth’s Supreme Court Gardens, with some very special guests yet to be announced. Jamiroquai will also be playing Canberra and Newcastle.

Add to that his elasticated dance moves, super stylish videos, a love of fast cars and faster women, and a vast and more than unusual collection of hats, spice it up with his run-ins with the UK paparazzi and their tabloid masters, and season that with his concerns for the ecology and for where the world is heading - it’s virtual insanity.
