sign with Liberation Music and Mushroom Music Publishing for debut album produced by Nash Chambers
Matt Joe Gow & The Dead Leaves are very excited to announce that they have just signed a record deal with Liberation Music and a publishing deal with Mushroom Music Publishing.
The band this week wrapped up at Sing Sing Studios in Richmond recording their debut album with ARIA award winning producer Nash Chambers. Matt Joe Gow & The Dead Leaves were also honored to have founding Midnight Oil member and multi talented musician Jim Moginie add his magic touch to the recording playing guest instrumentals.
“Working with Jim Moginie, one of the most talented musicians in the country, is an honour for any aspiring band, let alone to be produced by Nash Chambers,” Matt said of the recording experience.
“Matt Joe Gow is an Artist that impresses in many ways,” said Mushroom Music General Manager Warren Costello.
“Matt and his band have a trunk full of songs that are equal parts rock and alt-country, they are extremely competent and complementary musicians and they have a clear vision for their future in music. Matt is a charismatic front man who despite his young years has a mature outlook, a fantastic work ethic and a steely determination to succeed. Matt Joe Gow & The Dead Leaves have recently supported Pete Murray on the Victorian leg of his national tour where he received a great response from Pete’s audience. Their debut album is expected to be released early next year.
