One of Australia’s busiest and highly respected musicians Nicky Bomba has jumped on his musical boat again to deliver a party filled island adventure with his new band BUSTAMENTO.
The forthcoming album entitled “Intrepid Adventures to the Lost Riddim Islands”, finds Nicky sourcing both classic and rare tunes whilst writing a whole swag of new songs in keeping with the form, covering the Calypso, Mento, Early Reggae and Ska styles.
We’re please to announce that GUT will be screening at the 11th edition of the Transilvania International Film Festival this coming June. Screening days and times are currently TBA. Selected to play in TIFF’s Shadows section, this will be GUT’s Eastern European premiere. The feature thriller, written/directed by Elias and featuring Jason Vail, Nicholas Wilder and Sarah Schoofs, made its world premiere last month at Norway’s 60°N Os International Film Festival. Fresh from touring with The Jezebels in the US and having signed to Vagrant Records for North America, UK song smith Benjamin Francis Leftwich is making his first foray to Australia in July.
21 year old Ben, having released his top 20 (UK) debut album Last Smoke Before The Snowstorm last year, has played no less than 26 festival dates in the past 12 months and also completed an extensive, 28 date European headline tour. He’ll be bringing his well crafted set to the following venues:
