INK (NSW) with Fading Hour, Seventh Circle and A Lonely Crowd
INK came together in January 2006 and have since worked at honing their sound in a bid to surpass the respective members previous achievements, in industrial rock act Jerk (who supported Marilyn Manson, Disturbed, Killing Joke and Insane Clown Posse) and Anxiety Whispers; The main objective of all concerned has been to make INK a substantially different kind of beast to the players’ previous outfits, while not losing the intensity, drive or energy of said bands. Hence, INK embodies melody, power, aggression and a dark energy all their own. Doors 8.30pm.

LUCY’S CROWN with YOUNG HUSBAND and VESPERTINE
Three of Melbourne’s hottest female fronted rock bands are coming together for a must see summer show: The theatrical rock show - Lucy’s Crown is an experience of raw riff-rock and physical theatre. Lucy presents a visually stunning performance where reality and illusion meet and indistinguishably merge; Young Husband stand as an argument between grunge and Rock ‘n’ Roll, with musical and visual wit. Their live shows are punchy, energetic and growling with addictive tunes ripe for car cruising and 3am chants; and Vespertine - from blistering rock and jarring dissonance to dream-like mellow moments of ethereal beauty. Doors 8.30pm.

OPERATOR PLEASE (QLD)
When Operator Please won the ARIA Award for the hit single, ‘Just A Song About Ping Pong’ it reinforced that this five-piece Gold Coast band mean business. They might have cut their teeth on after school rehearsals and discussed pop music during their lunch breaks, but there is more to their celebrity status than meets the eye. With the help of MySpace and a generous nod of approval by celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, the band led by the charismatic 19-year-old Amandah Wilkinson, says their success is no overnight find. Their hotly anticipated debut album titled ‘Yes Yes Vindictive’ (recorded in Gosford New South Wales earlier this year over four weeks with renowned UK producer Simon Barnicott) is a youthful tease into a world that literally swept these kids off theirs.
