Thursday 3 Jan
$15+bf
Doors 8pm The Porkers 20th Birthday Tour is a big event and 20 years in the making, starting back in 1987, playing an Aussie version of Jamaican ska music, the upbeat father of reggae. Over the years their sound has mixed and fused with many other influences and today is a sound that could be described as “a rocking world music assault on your hips, feet and brain”. There’s elements of reggae, rock, swing, calypso, and surf, throw in some punk rock energy, a few beers, a twisted sense of humour and you have The Porkers experience!
