Push FReeZA Summit coming to Melbourne in July
Tuesday July 8, 10:30am – 3:30pm – Fitzroy Town Hall, 201 Napier St, Fitzroy
Youth music organisation The Push is coming to Fitzroy during the July school holidays to hold a free music industry training session for young people.

The annual Push FReeZA Summits are free to attend and open to everyone. Any young person who is interested in the music or event industry is encouraged to attend this fantastic training opportunity.

The full day of training will feature a range of industry professionals sharing music industry advice and information. The full program is attached or can be downloaded here.

Meet with industry professionals to discuss artist and tour management, volunteering and internships, publicity, event management, song writing and performance, radio, and online music distribution

Career development and pathways for young people
Live sound workshop to learn how to set up a PA system for live performance
Artist’s Q&A with The Hounds Homebound, Darcy Fox and Residual Live

Krump showcase and workshop Tour management workshop with Jamie Lehman (Endless Road Touring)
Workshop on music equipment maintenance, partnerships and equipment endorsements
Learn about festival OH&S, engaging the community and sustainability and rural community development Network with young people and workers on music and event committees
