Richmond Theatrette Gigs July 2015

The Richmond Theatrette is Richmond’s newest live music venue, and is playing host to a special series of intimate live music performances as part of the Leaps and Bounds Music Festival 2015.

This obscure and little known theatrette, will host eight concerts between Saturday 11 July and Sunday 19 July.

The first weekend kicks off with two special performances by acclaimed Sydney singer songwriter, Perry Keyes.

On Saturday 11 July, Perry Keyes and his band will be supported by local singer songwriter, Nick Batterham.

On Sunday 12 July, Perry Keyes and his band will be supported by renowned local duo, Jack Howard and Nicky Del Rey.

The fun doesn’t stop with the first weekend. The shows continue on Tuesday 14 July, when Ashley Naylor of EVEN, Paul Kelly band and now RocKwiz fame, plays a rare solo show.

On Wednesday 15 July, country-tinged pop duo The Grapes, featuring Sherry Rich and Ashley Naylor, play a special full band show, with special guest support from Emily Ulman.

On Thursday 16 July and Friday 17 July, Melbourne legends The Fauves hit the stage for two increasingly rare performances. They will be supported by much-loved band The Ronson Hangup for both shows.

On Saturday 18 July, there will be a special double bill featuring two of Melbourne’s finest songwriters. Ross McLennan and the New World, will provide us with a choice selection of pop symphonic masterpieces taken from Ross’s three solo albums. Ben Mason will have his band and orchestra on hand to share the delights of his brand new album ‘She’d Need a Heart’.

The series concludes on Sunday 19 July with a special show by EVEN, with support from special guests The Jangle Band.
