Skybombers gear up for album launch with a bunch of sneak preview shows
Fresh back from kicking around the US of A with legendary punk rockers ‘X’, and supporting the legendary Foo Fighters in New Zealand, the Skybombers have just announced a bunch of east coast dates to give Australian audiences a taste of their debut album Take Me To Town and their June national tour.
With the first single ‘Always Complaining’ rocking the airwaves on Triple J, punters can see Skybombers in blistering form after solid touring both here and abroad.
The boys will take their high energy, rocking live show to Ballarat, Bendigo, Melbourne, Sydney, Wollongong, Canberra and Newcastle throughout the rest of this month previewing the new album, which kicks all seven kinds of arse!
Influenced by ‘60s garage pop, ‘70s rock and roll, early punk, ‘90s grunge and Britpop like The Kinks, The Clash, You Am I, The Easybeats, Oasis and The Hives, Skybombers are about energy, they’re about melody, they’re about 4 A.M., they’re about being so loose that you can’t stand still, so your only option is to dance. Most of all, they are about being young and everyone can relate to that!
Take Me To Town is released on June 7 on Albert Productions.
