Award-winning showbiz veterans Chi Chi and Cha-Cha Lombardo have been entertaining the masses on board the Columbian Cruise ship “Hispanic Princess” for the last 35 years .
They would have been buried at sea if not for the Somalian Pirate attack off the coast of Africa which sank the Princess mid show..Luckily they were rescued by a Seven Seas Fantasy Cruise for the over-70s which brought them to Sydney for the very first time . Now, Slide Bar is thrilled to introduce Chi Chi and Cha Cha and their fabulous new lounge act “Hispanic Attack” This is Latin Burlesque at its best! Featuring the talents of Sydney’s favorite cabaret couple Lesley Hancock (Leave it to Diva) and Trevor Ashley (Priscilla), this is a Slide singalong spectacular not to be missed!

On the 22nd of October Slide is proud to welcome back the exceptional, soulful voice and Scotland’s chart-topping dance floor diva and first lady of song, Ms Mary Kiani. This special, ‘live and intimate’ showcase in Slide’s super supper setting comes by popular demand! Mary recently settled in Australia to begin songwriting ventures after a successful promotion tour of Europe and her native Britain. The ‘wee bonny lass’ is a well known club act in the UK with a string of top 20 hits including, “I Imagine”. Come with her on a melifluous, musical journey through some of the great jazz, gospel, musical theatre & dance music classics.

Three 2 Tango have re-invented the Argentine tango, maintaining the passion while breaking the rules!
William Centurian, Mariana Baltodano and Manuel Albarracin will premiere this new full-length modern tango show ‘in the round’ at Slide. Come and see how two hot-blooded Latin men battle for dominance over each other as they fight for the attention of a sultry woman who teases, tempts and seduces both her two lovers… and the audience!

Henry Manetta & the Trip

Henry Manetta and the Trip celebrate the Trailblazer Records release of their latest album ‘Sexjazz’ with a CD Launch at Sydney’s Slide Cabaret. A melismatic concoction of deep jazz thought, spatial blues and in-the-pocket soul fire, it features Adam Rudegeair on piano, keyboards and marimba, Ron Romero on saxophone, Adam Spiegl on bass, Scott Hay on drums and percussion, and Clare Moore on harmonies, vibes and percussion. Alex Taylor provides violins and Justin Ashworth programmed the synth sounds.
