This is the ninth annual Big Marimba Event………… The Sunshine Coast has become a “hotspot” for marimba activity with hundreds of people playing marimbas. The Big Marimba Concert Celebrates this, with 6 Marimba bands performing at this fantastic free family event. A wonderful feature of this concert is the fantastic amphitheatre set in the Noosa Botanic gardens with Lake Macdonald as a superb backdrop. It’s a great afternoon’s entertainment for all the family and it’s FREE!

Now in it’s sixth year, Fête de la Musique Brisbane will again provide a platform for everyone who loves making music. Newcomers will join veterans on the streets of Brisbane on 21 June to bring the city a day full of music from nearly every genre.
Red Chair is excited to be part of the producing team for Fête de la Musique this year programming acts in Fortitude Valley and buses, City Cats and Central Station.
