Two of the Def Jux labels most prized artists Mr Lif and Cage visit Australia as part of the Def Jux 2006 Tour; the tour coincides with the release of Mr Lifs new album ‘Mo Mega’. The album sees the US cult hip hop figure Mr Lif back with an arsenal of new rhymes, showcasing his talent as an MC, poet and true life reporter. Ed Kuepper, the one time Saints guitarist/songwriter and band leader for post-punk giants the Laughing Clowns, and Wegener, the original drummer for The Saints and only other mainstay along side Kuepper in the Clowns, reunited after a 20 years sabbatical earlier this year to perform the live soundtrack to a series of avant-garde films by New Zealand film maker Len Lye. Former Sunnyboys bass player Peter Oxley has now joined the pair adding a new dimension to a rich catalogue.
