The Fleurieu Folk Festival
Only one week to go to The Fleurieu Folk Festival - 4th to 6th of November.

Featured artists this year include: The Borderers, Emma Wall Band (Vic), The
Fiddle Chicks, Chris Finnen & Wintergreen, Billy February, Dean Bird, Dinna
Ken, Djembassa, Here’s To Friends, Hot For Joe, Jidasc, The Legends,
Margaret Monks, The Sultans of String, Rafferty’s Rules, Rocky River Bush
Band, The Ryebuck Sheilas.
There’s also plenty of opportunity to get involved - apart from the feature
concerts there’s blackboard concerts, poetry events, a bush dance, Morris
dancers a huge variety of workshops and plenty of sessions. There’s lots of
fun for the kids as well with face-painting, Fritz Sandwich, Punch & Judy, a
Junior Talent Showcase and fun for all on the Village Green surrounded by
the food & craft stalls.
Aldinga is located on the Fleurieu Peninsula (about an hour’s drive south of
Adelaide), nestled in between the fabulous southern beaches and the McLaren
Vale wine-growing area. Camping is available next to the festival site for a
small fee that includes a cooked breakfast. Bookings can be made online.
