Last in Australia as headliners on the Big Day Out tour, The Killers sideshows sold out in record time. For those left disappointed at missing out on tickets The Frontier Touring Company has some very exciting news …The Killers are returning to Australia in November this year!

Taking to arena stages and playing what will be their largest headlining shows in Australia to date, The Killers will play in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne this November.

The Killers shot to stardom with the release of their debut album Hot Fuss (Island Records), which spawned a barrage of hit singles including the chart-topping “Somebody Told Me”. Sold out world tours followed (including Australia) before the band returned to the studio to work on their sophomore release, Sam’s Town (Island Records).

Sam’s Town truly catapulted The Killers to superstar status, making them virtually unstoppable. Blender declared the album “An action-packed blockbuster,” while Billboard announced it was “a sophisticated sonic metropolis.”

However it’s not just on records that The Killers shine. Their performances throughout the Big Day Out tour received nothing but glowing reviews, with yourgigs.com.au gushing: “You know you’ve made it when a stadium full of people sing along to your song and ‘Mr Brightside’ was this moment for the Killers, with girls hoisted on shoulders and thousands of phones thrust towards the stage.”

Of a New York City show, Rolling Stone were thrilled: “…Flowers acted the charistmatic frontman, flailing around unself-consciously, clutching his mike and emoting with heartfelt conviction…”

The Killers have a history of selling out shows in Australia incredibly fast. To avoid disappointment make sure you secure your tickets when they go on sale Friday 17 August. For pre-sale details please visit frontiertouring.com
