Carlos Ferreira played samba drums for 20 years (1965-1985) with Flamengo’s cheer squad’s baterias in Rio de Janeiro (Flamengo is Brazil’s most popular football club with more than 35 million supporters nationwide)
Join our TORCIDA BRASILEIRA - Wear a Brazilian CBF yellow top and bring your Brazilian flag…. We’ll transport you to a Brazilian game at Maracana Stadium!! If Brazil wins we might (at the venue’s manager discretion) extend the night a bit as the venue is licensed til 7am!! It wll be huge!! Oh, what a wonderful vibe!!!

We are delighted to offer a series of very special Brazilian Dance Classes with our Guest Teacher Belinda .
Belinda has several years experience in teaching a wide range of Brazilian Dance styles both in Spain and internationally. She has performed Samba regulary for Spanish televison stations and festivals as well as teaching Samba workshops in dance academies throughout the south of Spain. Belinda now lives in Melbourne and we are very lucky to have her here with us.
Dance to the powerful sound of a live “Bateria” (Brazilian Percussion Section of a Samba School)
This class is suitable to all levels, from beginners to advanced.

1) Students are required to arrive no later than 7:15pm as classes start at 7:30pm SHARP
2) Wear stretchy dance gear or comfortable exercise wear (you need something that won’t limit your movements). As far as shoes are concerned, it is best to wear sneakers or dance shoes without heels.
