ROCK AEROBICS
ROCK AEROBICS is a dance fitness class for lovers of all things rock that sets rock-inspired dance moves to a soundtrack ranging from Blondie and Bowie to AC/DC and Alice Cooper. At ROCK AEROBICS you’ll pogo, skank, shimmy and strut to a monthly rotation of rock anthems. All you need to bring is a pair of sneakers, a towel, $10 and your best rock face (and some spare change for a beer!). Class starts at 7pm. For more info see www.rockaerobics.com.au
7.00pm (One hour class)

JOHNNY UPPERCUT

FIRE FIRE!
ROSS DE CHENE HURRICANES
If you plan on coming to Yah Yah’s on Thursday organizers have warned you had better bring a helmet because there will be stones flying and shit exploding all over the place. Be prepared for a groovey garage rock onslaught early in the evening administered by the accurately titled 2 piece Ross de Chene Hurricanes. Fighter jet pilots Fire Fire! will keep the heat on with their SCORCHING vocal lines and THUMPING tunes that will have you smearing your greasy selves all over the dancefloor. But holy shit, it doesn’t stop there … in the second half of the evening The Analyte will pick you up, and put you in a large canon, that will fire you into the deepest darkest parts of the universe. And if you are still alive at this point then Melbourne’s punk heroes JOHNNY UPPERCUT will, as the name suggests, smack you back to earth with a drunken punch better than the great Ali himself. Get your shit together and be there at 8.30pm.

Sunday 14th February
THE PALENECKS
EATEN BY DOGS
Sundays are for coming down, sobering up or just trying to piece together what brain cells you have left before you front up to work on the Monday morning and tell everyone that you didn’t really do much on the weekend…just sat on the couch and watched some movies. Well this Sunday you can come down, sober up and pull yourself together at Yah Yah’s with the Palenecks and Eaten By Dogs who will help slow your racing heartbeat to a safer zone. And yes, it is valentine’s day, so fell free to bring your hot date down or maybe you’ll just get lucky at the show. There’s plenty of handsome gentlemen in the Palenecks, and even one with red hair if you’re that way inclined. Bring a red rose…
