our touring schedule is fully commited for 2008 - we are unable to take
on any more tours until further notice.
Promoter or Tour Assistance
Entertainment Depot provides touring and promotional assistance for incoming
overseas artists & performers.
Depending on your tour specifications, we would also be happy to act
as your representative “on-the-ground” (consultant) in Australia. Particularly
where artist’s management have a handle on the tour, but may require a
local contact familiar with the Australian touring specifications.
Entertainment Depot has established business relationships with leading
industry professionals - all with many years of experience in touring.
Providing Services in:
Hints for Touring in Australia
- We are a large country, with lots of empty wide-open spaces, which
equates to lots of travel, time and expense to get from one city to
another. Thus we recommend flying to each capitol city.
- Driving - only if you are considering touring in the regional and
country venues. Our vehicles are right hand drive, and we drive on the
left side of the road.
- Unless you are already a “Headline” act or an “A Listed” performer,
with a significant public profile, you will require a professionally
planned publicity campaign well in advance to your arrival date.
- Timing of your tour –Festivals and larger venues are often booked
12 months ahead.
- Hotel, pubs and clubs book acts 3 to 6 months ahead.
- Tax – taxation requirements must be pre-arranged well in advance.
A with- holding tax of 30% of your gross income may apply.
- Taking out all insurances is recommended. Especially emergency health
cover for each artist, and performance public liability.
- Australian Immigration laws need to be adhered. Sponsorship for all
working artists is required.
- Unfortunately we cannot provide a “sponsorship only” service where
artists merely require a signature on the immigration sponsorship form.
- For Independent Musicians - Some Australian States do not have exact
and specific laws governing booking agents and promoters, always be
wary of deals and offers that sound too good, and are not clearly defined
in writing.

Australian Tour March 2004
Nancy Cartwright, international voice actor, visited Australia to perform
her show, "My Life as a Ten-Year- Old Boy".
Cartwright Entertainment appointed Entertainment Depot as the touring
agent and publicist for the tour.
Radio interviews were organized while Nancy was still in Los Angeles
providing pre-arrival exposure. On Nancy's arrival in Australia, a full
schedule of national television appearances was organised, plus further
radio and print media interviews.
Due to Nancy's schedule, shows were limited. In Melbourne only two dates
were available - both sell out shows at the beautiful Astor Theatre, St.
Kilda. Australian Simpson's fans were disappointed that extra shows were
not available.
Shows were sold out in a matter of days, and for those lucky fans who
did manage to obtain tickets, having Nancy sign her book, "My Life as
a Ten-Year- Old Boy", was an absolute bonus.
We look forward to Nancy Cartwrights next visit to our shores.

Furia Taiwan Show

Furia - Merengue Kings in Taipei, Taiwan.
Entertainment Depot is flying out Melbourne's
12 pce Latino Band Furia for a special one night performance
in Taipei, Taiwan. They will be performing in front of an
exclusive European-based guest list, for a Latino themed Grand
Ball, an annual event at the Grand Hyatt. Furia are renowned
for their vibrant "Merengue" rhythm together with the much
loved Salsa, Cumbia, Cha Cha and Punta rhythms.

Chicago USA Show

The Australian Van Morrison Show (Sydney) is
off to Chicago, USA!
Entertainment Depot is sending this fantastic Aussie tribute
show to the States.
We have arranged for a special, one-night only, performance
for a private function (Happy Birthday Sean!).
The elite of Chicago will be attending this exciting event
at an exclusive members-only venue.
Congratulations to the guys in the band, they will also be
treated to couple of days off to check out the town.

Aerial Angels perform in New Zealand

Entertainment Depot booked the Aerial Angels
for an exclusive live performance in Auckland New Zealand.
Performing at a VIP corporate event held at the St. James
Theatre, the girls delighted their audience.
The show was filled with exciting dance routines (from
way up high) with the audience participating with lots of
"ooohs" & " aaaahs" as the girls worked thru their routines.

Mo-Tunes Tour

Mo-Tunes to perform in Shanghai, China
Entertainment Depot presents the Mo-Tunes to Shanghai.
The Mo-Tunes - the Supreme Sounds of 60's, will be appearing
on the opening night at the new Vizcaya Club in Shanghai,
China.
The Mo-Tunes perform their brilliant show with sophistication
& glamour to audiences around the world and were selected
by the Vizcaya Club from numerous acts from Europe and Australia.

voice actor Nancy Cartwright has just completed a string of
sell out lectures/shows in Australia.
Entertainment Depot embraced the opportunity to provide Cartwright
